I have learned two things that I did not intend on learning this week. My laptop lives! Well, sorta. It seems the hard drive controller died? Yeah, that's a new one for me. But hey, no data loss, so that's a plus.

As is likely evident, I do have computer access. Dad's still working on getting my laptop to be at least functional in some way (the hard drive, it was corrupted...). After 5 years of steady usage, my laptop's hard drive is dying.
